This project was undertaken in order to elucidate two important problems in Thyroid Biochemistry namely, the kinetics of labelling of tyrosine and monoiodotyrosine (MIT) and the pathways of synthesis of triiodothyronine (T3 ) and thyroxine (T4 ).
