In the first part, I will examine webcasting itself and will differentiate it from other similar forms of data transfer etc. Next, I will describe the technology behind webcasting, which is relevant to copyright issues. The central part of this paper will outline the legal issues surrounding webcasting and discuss possible solutions. I will also look at different countries and their legislation around broadcasting system to analyze whether it is sufficient to deal with webcasting. |
