This paper serves as a pretext to the resulting architectural project and traces the progression of the design process born from the entry point of this thesis, of a site. It portrays an attempt to conceive a considered methodology for approaching architectural design. Thus this dissertation traces the unexpected route from conception to product. The experimentations and research direct, divert and redirect the trajectory of the design process with the intention of creating an investigation that is hopefully personal, rich and most certainly not predetermined. 2014-07-31T11:38:14Z 2014-07-31T11:38:14Z 2012 Master Thesis Masters MArch http://hdl.handle.net/11427/5606 eng application/pdf School of Architecture, Planning and Geomatics Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment University of Cape Town
