This research looks at the experience of being a psychologist-in-training providing psychological services to a staff support group in a community-based organisation located in a township. The staff support group consisted of health workers drawn from the local community. At the time I entered the staff support group, the organisation was in a financial crisis and facing an imminent closure. This seemed to have re-evoked earlier traumatic experiences for the community health workers and resulted in a multi-layered response from them, which manifested itself in the discussions in the staff support group. 2014-10-02T13:21:17Z 2014-10-02T13:21:17Z 2004 Master Thesis Masters MA http://hdl.handle.net/11427/7999 eng application/pdf Department of Psychology Faculty of Humanities University of Cape Town
