| Summary: | In this study Stated Preference (SP) methods are used to investigate alternative transport policies at the University of Cape Town. The main purpose of the study is to investigate how commuters respond to increases in the cost of parking on campus. A sample of academic staff, support/admin staff and students was used in this study. A mixed sample of 50 respondents participated in the study. These people used private cars to campus but had occasionally commuted to campus by public transport. |
