This study therefore investigated budget planning, allocation and implementation as indices for intramural sport programmes among Osun State owned tertiary institutions. A total of 500 respondents were purposely selected from four tertiary institutions owned by the state government for the study. A self-structured and validated questionnaire was used to collect data. The questionnaire was analysed using the inferential' statistics of multiple regressions. Conclusions and recommendations were drawn at the end of the study based on the findings of the study
