The research developed the extensive overview of the existing frameworks and identified gaps, especially with regards to the lack of empirical data devoted to the process through which leaders navigate various cultural landscapes and at the same time act as the embodiment of mission as transformation, incarnation, and holistic engagement. The study provides theoretical assumptions for practical application of the missional leadership theory, and lays the ground to further explore the theory within the context of modern leadership for ethically grounded responses to contemporary global and local situations. The study adopted the qualitative, critical-realist approach and utilized the Boschian analytical perspectives. The results indicate that the growing interest in the scholarship on missional leadership is one of the significant paradigm shifts in African contemporary Christian approaches which and less Western or hierarchical. The missional approach, and the introduction of intercultural models of participation place more focus on contextual flexibility and prophetic transformation as opposed to traditional and rigid approaches. Some of the significant thematic issues that emerged out this study are: (1) the dynamic interplay between mission and culture; (2) incarnational praxis in leadership; and (3) the emergent dialogic, dialectical forms of leadership. In re-pproapriating the lessons which emerged out this study, Chapter 5 engages with a Boschian framework of contextual leadership to highlight four fundamental features of missional leadership; such as contextual adaptability, missional integration, dialectical dynamics, and prophetic-transformative leadership. The study concludes by providing by tools of evaluation and implementation for real-world guidelines to leaders who work in various cultural environments. Constrained are highlighted before the possibilities for future research directions are suggested, among them, the need for longitudinal and cross-culture studies.
