This research focuses on the crisis of leadership in Pentecostalism. It acknowledges the leadership vacuum that exists within Pentecostalism. The success and continuity of Pentecostalism solely depend on leadership development. It is important to know that leadership is important for preservation. The research raises the issue of theological education as a necessity for Pentecost leaders. Theological leadership has and is contributing to many abuses, to mention a few a financial abuse that manifests itself as the gospel of prosperity, emotional abuse that manifests itself as spiritual authority, and mental abuse that manifests itself in a form of hearing from the Holy Spirit. This research focuses on Tshwane, a case in point, as a lot is happening in Tshwane within the Pentecostal church, and it is justified as hearing from God.
