This study investigates the influence of employee Wellbeing on performance within hybrid, remote, and office-based work environments in South Africa. Leveraging the 2024 GIBS Health Workplace Wellbeing Study, the research employs a quantitative, cross-sectional design to examine how physical, psychological, social, emotional, and financial dimensions of Wellbeing effect self-reported job performance. The analysis draws on Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Model and Self-Determination Theory to provide theoretical grounding. Multiple regression results indicate that psychological, social, and emotional wellbeing have statistically significant positive impact on performance, while the effects of physical and financial Wellbeing are less pronounced. The findings highlight the importance of organisational support, work-life balance, and social connectedness in enhancing employee outcomes in hybrid and remote settings. The study contributes to the management and human resource practices aimed at fostering sustainable employee performance in evolving work models.
