The quick service restaurant industry in South Africa is plagued by high staff turnover and the cost associated with this. This is especially true for the semi-skilled employees at ground level, working in the restaurants in this industry. These workers are poorly paid and work erratic hours in difficult circumstances. The aim of this study is to identify the factors that influence job satisfaction within this industry. The study also aims to isolate the predominant reasons for both voluntary and involuntary staff turnover. zk2016 Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) MBA Unrestricted 2016-05-04T13:45:37Z 2016-05-04T13:45:37Z 2016-03-30 2015 Mini Dissertation Swanepoel, C 2015, Understanding job satisfaction and labour turnover of semi-skilled employees in the quick service restaurant industry, MBA Mini-dissertation, University of Pretoria, Pretoria, viewed yymmdd <http://hdl.handle.net/2263/52330> GIBS http://hdl.handle.net/2263/52330 en © 2016 University of Pretoria.
