Prepared under the supervision of Prof Michelo Hansungule of the Centre of Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria The study is critically analysing the current legal framework in Malawi in so far as the right to equality and non-discrimination in the work place and the right to work for people with physical disabilities (PWPDs) is concerned. The paper will assess whether Malawi’s legal framework effectively protects the right to equality and non-discrimination in the work place for PWPDs in conformity with international standards.
