Hierdie konsepte behels ’n organisasie se vermoe om die kennis en vaardighede van sy werknemers te behou en doeltreffend te benut, aan te pas by veranderinge in die sake-omgewing, en ’n kultuur van deurlopende leer te bevorder. Effektiewe kennisbehoud behels nie net die vaslegging van kennis nie, maar ook die berging daarvan in toeganklike formate vir toekomstige gebruik. Die literatuuroorsig beklemtoon dat kennisbestuur (KB) 'n goed-bekende dissipline is, met navorsing wat dui op 'n toenemende behoefte om hierdie konsepte meer volledig te omarm. 'n Ontleding van personeelreaksies by Statistics Botswana (SB) verskaf waardevolle insigte oor kennisdeling, kommunikasievoorkeure, en organisatoriese kultuur, met klem op die volgende kernpunte: •Institusionele Geheue: Langdiensbeamptes beskik oor beduidende institusionele geheue watnoodsaaklik is vir kontinuiteit. •Kenniscontinuiteitsbestuur: Strategiee is nodig om organisatoriese kenniscontinuiteit tebestuur, veral tydens aftreeperiodes. •Opvolgbeplanning: 'n Sterk voorkeur onder werknemers vir interne opvolgbeplanningbeklemtoon die belang van die behoud van institusionele kennis. •Tegnologiese Gereedheid: Die personeel toon 'n bereidwilligheid om nuwe tegnologiesevooruitgang te aanvaar, wat op 'n oopheid tot verandering dui. •Kennisoordragstrategiee: Daar is ’n behoefte om kennisoordragstrategiee te implementeer en teversterk, insluitend personeelrotasie, afrigting, werkskadu, en mentorskapprogramme. •Verbintenis tot Deurlopende Leer: SB word erken as 'n kennisgebaseerde organisasie waardeurlopende leer van kardinale belang is vir die handhawing van sukses. Hierdie bevindinge beklemtoon gesamentlik die kritieke rol van effektiewe kennisbestuurspraktyke in die bevordering van organisatoriese veerkragtigheid en aanpasbaarheid.
