ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The rapid evolution of digital technologies presents unique challenges and opportunities for organisations worldwide. This thesis investigates how organisations could better navigate continuous internal and external technological changes; it explores the interplay between Dynamic Capabilities (DC) and Change Management (CM) and Digital Transformation (DT). The research aims to develop a Digital Transformation Dynamic Capabilities (DT-DCs) framework that allows organisations to adapt and capitalise on digital innovations. This study incorporates Change Management strategies to minimise resistance to change and ensure changes are positively accepted and sustained. The study is supported by a thorough review of existing literature which highlights a significant gap in the integration of Dynamic Capabilities with systematic Change Management processes in the context of Digital Transformation. To address this gap in literature, the study combined research on DCs, CM, and DT to developed a framework that facilitates an organisation's ability to implement successful DT strategies. The study used the Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM) with a methodological choice of a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data were gathered through expen interviews, providing in-depth insights into the feasibility of the framework, practical challenges and strategic considerations of leading Digital Transformation initiatives. Quantitative data was collected through two surveys: the first one with experts, seeking input on in-depth knowledge concerning routine activities of the developed framework; participants rated it based on the level of Importance, Difficulty, and Extent Performed. The second was conducted with a larger audience of professionals working in different industries to evaluate the developed framework and to test its applicability and effectiveness within different organisational contexts. The findings of the study confirms that there is a consensus among professionals that the developed framework's capabilities and routine activities are relevant for organisations' Digital Transformation initiatives. The study illustrates that the practices suggested by the framework allows organisations to be better positioned for successful Digital Transformation. The study identifies several key components of Digital Transformation that was incorporated into the developed framework. These key components includes the necessity of leadership commitment, the strategic alignment of technology and business goals, continuous learning, and the cultivation of an digitally positive and adaptive organisational culture. The developed framework serves as a valuable tool for business leaders and managers. This tool can guide user to strategically implement digital technologies and sustain the changes. This thesis contributes to academic and practical knowledge by providing a validated framework that merges Dynamic Capabilities with Change Management for Digital Transformation. It encourages organisations to address Digital Transformation with a wholistic approach for a more integrated and strategic tactic that is essential for thriving in today's fast-paced digital marketplace. This thesis is a springboard that allows further studies to explore broader adoption and adaptation of the framework in future Digital Transformation endeavours.
