Sooner or later every person is confronted with time-wasting and tedious meetings where many decisions have to be made and where it is sometimes difficult to reach conclusions. GRoup decision support systems (GDSS) can be used to improve the efficiency of group meetings and to overcome some of the difficulties encountered during meetings. Most GDSS are expensive and sometimes difficult to operate. Voting terminals can be used as an effective aid for group decision making. The design and implementation of such a wireless voting system is described in this thesis.
