ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The subject of this dissertation is the analysis, prediction and description of the various types of flow that may occur within a vertical or inclined air cooled condenser tube. A literature survey on the subjects of condensation heat transfer, two-phase pressure drop and the occurrence of flooding during the counterflow of liquid and gas in a tube is undertaken. AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Die tema van die analiese, voorspelling en beskrywing van die verskillende vloeitipes wat in 'n vertikale of skuins lugverkoelde kondensorbuis mag voorkom. Die resultate van 'n literatuuroorsig oor kondensasie warmteoordrag, twee-fase vloei drukverliese asook die voorkoms van vloeding tydens teenvloei van vloeistof en gas in 'n buis word gerapporteer.
