This study explores the contribution of a Trinitarian leadership model to South Africa’s multi-religious education system, focusing on discipline, academic outcomes, and safe learning environments. It responds to the intertwined crises of poor literacy, widespread behavioural challenges, and tensions arising from religious diversity in schools. Using a qualitative, literature-based methodology, the research integrates value ethics, virtue ethics, and Trinitarian leadership with Positive Behaviour Interventions and Support (PBIS). The findings show that the Trinitarian model, grounded in relationality and unity-in-diversity, offers an inclusive ethical framework that accommodates religious plurality while fostering shared values. When combined with PBIS, it enhances positive behavioural outcomes, supports moral formation, and strengthens community within schools. The study contributes a conceptual framework that links theology, ethics, and educational leadership, proposing that value-driven and relational leadership can help transform South African schools into safer, more supportive, and academically stronger environments.
