AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Die noodsaaklikheid van gesinsbeplanning by die Kleurling word allerweë besef, veral deur persone en instansies wat by materiële hulpverlening, behuising, kindersorgdienste, gesondheidsdienste en toekomsbeplanning van die Kleurlingbevolking as geheel betrokke is. Daar bestaan dan ook 'n geruime tyd organisasies wat gesinsbeplanning deur middel van die beskikbaarstelling van geboortebeperkingsmiddels binne bereik van die Kleurling bring. Tog het die verwagte gretigheid om gesinsbeplanning toe te pas agterweë gebly en vind ons nog dat die individuele Kleurlinggesinne swig onder die eise van 'n te groot kindertal.
