The purpose of this study was to determine, by way of an organisation diagnosis, whether there are meaningful differences amongst different identified groups in regard to experienced work climate. On the one hand the reasons for these differences are placed under sharp focus, while on the other hand, a study is made of the reasons why the factors contributing to an organisational climate elicited alternate negative and positive responses. An attempt i s made to explain the differences in the light of available information and, in the case of negative perceptions, to make proposals aimed at the amelioration of the organisational climate. Finally, and as a result of a correlative study, an attempt has been made to determine the connection between organisational climate and job satisfaction.
