A computer program which can be used to aid management of a water scheme has been developed, with the Korinte-Vette-Government water scheme as example. The results of the simulation program enable the manager of the scheme to allocate water for use at any time, depending on the levels of the dams in the system. Such an allocation can be associated with different risks. The program also serves as a control for the monthly levels of the reservoirs to ensure that the risk allocations are met.
